NMP GPC
We promise to support our clients with various organic/inorganic material R&Ds with utmost sincerity.
KOPTRI provides GPC (Gel Permeation Chromatography) service with NMP (N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone).
NMP is a solvent that has even higher solubility than DMF and DMAc. If the polar polymer does not dissolve in NMP, it will be considered as a low solubility polymer or high chance of being crosslinked polymer, which would not be apt for GPC. For NMP, it is also effective to remove the polymer adsorption issue by adding LiBr or phosphoric acid as an additive. Especially for the cases below, if the polymer has many carboxylic acid (COOH) functional groups like polyamic acid, additives like phosphoric acid are useful. If you need help with analysis, please send us a request by submitting ‘Application Form’ under ‘Contact Us’ tab, and supervising researcher will aid you with a punctual and meticulous reply.
