GPC Standards
We promise to support our clients with various organic/inorganic material R&Ds with utmost sincerity.
To measure the molecular weight by GPC analysis, a Calibration curve must be present; thus, polymer standards with known molecular weights are required.
Our institute has various polymer standards (Polystrene, PMMA, PEG/PEO, Polysaccharide, Polyacrylic acid, polystyrene sulfonic acid, etc.) in possession, which can be used to produce highly reliable results. The most commonly used standard for THF-GPC is monodisperse Polystyrene from ionic polymerization, where various products with range of Mp 162 to tens of thousands of Mp are commercialized. For example, there is a commercialized Calibration kit with contains ten polymer standards with different molecular weight in a single product, which makes drawing Calibration curves much easier. For water-soluble polymers, polystyrene and PMMA does not dissolve in the aqueous conditions, so PEG/PEO polymer standards are commonly used. If the polymer is a polysaccharide-type, it is desirable to use standard with similar structure to polysaccharide like Pullulan or Dextran standard rather than PEG/PEO standards.
Koptri is a professional GPC institute that has various polymer standards, eluents and columns in possession to tailor any GPC set-ups depending on the target polymers of our clients to produce most reliable and accurate result.
